Dale Fincher discovered beautiful New Hampshire at age 10 when his mother brought him to summer camp in the Upper Valley. He returned every summer as camper, and then counselor and director of programs through his mid-20s, serving underprivileged communities with traditional values. Though born in Florida, Dale has always considered the Granite State “home away from home.”

His late 20s was filled with transition: Dale completed a graduate degree in California school while also losing his mother to cancer and marrying his wife, Jonalyn. She was a schoolteacher from a conservative family. Living in California a few short years gave him a front-row seat to political decline, including high taxes, urban expansion, overregulation, and congestion. The quality of life was a far cry from New Hampshire. 

Dale co-founded i3, Inc, with a friend in 2010—an investment firm focused on building family financial legacies. He also served a decade on a multimillion-dollar philanthropic foundation supporting museums, education, sports, and camps.

As a husband-wife team, they founded Soulation, Inc., a Christian nonprofit headquartered in Colorado. Over 20 years, Dale spoke to tens of thousands across four continents, founded Soulation Press, authored books, led writing teams, and led retreats in Colorado.

In 2018, as they tied off their work in Colorado, Dale and his family began their permanent move to New Hampshire to raise their children.

They fulfilled a family dream in 2024 by captaining their sailboat across the Atlantic from South Africa to the Chesapeake Bay with their two sons.

Now building on momentum from last spring’s Special Election, Dale is ready to serve as State Representative for Wolfeboro, Ossipee, and Tuftonboro. A team player and natural mediator, he is devoted to lowering the temperature, finding consensus, and advancing common-sense solutions to keep New Hampshire the best place to raise a family and build a future.
