Dale Fincher Announces Write-In Campaign for New Hampshire State Representative in Carroll County District 7 Special Election
Wolfeboro, NH – Today, Dale Fincher announced his write-in campaign as a Republican for State Representative in Carroll County District 7, representing the communities of Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, and Ossipee in the upcoming special election.
Due to a delay in the supervisors of the checklist certifying his recent voter registration change, Dale was unable to appear on the ballot as originally planned. Undeterred, he is moving forward with a strong write-in effort to bring his experience and common-sense solutions to the Lakes Region.
A longtime lover of New Hampshire who first discovered the state at summer camp in 1983 and made it his permanent home in recent years, Dale brings a diverse background of leadership in nonprofits, finance, philanthropy, and international service. After co-founding a successful investment firm, serving on a multi-million-dollar foundation, authoring books, and recently completing a family sailing adventure across the Atlantic, Dale is stepping forward to serve the Lakes Region with common-sense solutions and a commitment to bipartisan consensus.
“Carroll County is a priceless gem in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, and families here are feeling the squeeze from rising costs,” said Fincher. “I’m running to deliver affordability and fiscal responsibility – keeping government spending in check to lower property taxes, reduce energy and heating costs, and make healthcare more accessible without burdensome mandates. We need to protect our ‘Live Free or Die’ spirit by opposing new taxes, cutting unnecessary regulations, and preserving our rural character while supporting local businesses and tourism.”
Dale’s top priorities include:
- Controlling state spending to ease the burden on property taxpayers and prevent any new broad-based taxes.
- Promoting affordable energy options and opposing costly mandates that drive up electricity and heating bills for residents.
- Expanding access to quality healthcare while lowering costs through competition and innovation, not more government overreach.
- Boosting housing supply with local control, supporting education choice and parental rights, and safeguarding our natural beauty for future generations.
Married for 22 years to Jonalyn, a local fine artist, Dale is a proven mediator and visionary ready to lower political temperatures and find practical solutions in Concord.
